Check the review "Some good mixed with a whole lot of bad..." in 2018. All hold true in 2024. Some additional info: 1. The CEO is the main problem. He is an erratic bomb. He lacks patience and persistence, and constantly changes his mind. He is also unskilled and inpatient during presentations. 2. Micromanagement (mainly by CEO). Hard guideline for alphas. Risky to have long term research and new strategy ideas. CEO attends most meetings and controls every detail. 3. High turnover. GAR is a system filtering genius. Many people quit because of CEO. Therefore, those who stayed would only appease him, and he solely makes most decisions. 4. Very few formal training and development programs. For juniors who are new to this, try to collaborate with seniors or you will suffer. 5. Few room for new alpha ideas. Most of the ideas, someone else already thought of it. 6. Expect to work on weekends/holidays if CEO wants you too.
