Pros

Work environment created where collaboration is rewarded. I am constantly working with other colleagues because the process is fun and most people are friendly and resourceful. Compensation is clear and don't have to play the political game.

Cons

Too many projects. How to prioritize work is a must

Pros

I've worked at a number of firms and the caliber of people at Trexquant is impressive. Very flat hierarchy where CEO is open to suggestions. Collaboration is encouraged, effort is appreciated, and profitability translates into bonuses.

Cons

The workload is high, but you should expect this from any startup.
