Pros

They are in an exciting industry.

Cons

If you are a young engineer do not work here. Not worth the experience. Work somewhere else. I was pitched a remote roll with 20% travel and mostly working with PLC and HMI software. The reality was traveling 80% of the time as a calibration tech because they couldn't find enough engineering work. A lot of the travel was on very short notice. Was called multiple times in the morning and asked to drive 2 hours away.

Pros

Work from home when not on the road

Cons

Overworked, terrible work life ballance, overbearing management and a poor work culture. Just as many managers as engineers. Almost no perks for travelling which can be extensive and no extra compensation for working extra which you will be expected to do. Core group of original engineers and managers that if you aren't part of the club you aren't ever going to be. Terrible training setup and just overall a dysfunctional organization.
