Pros

Very open , learn from your mistakes environment . Willing to let you try tasks even if you not qualified. Hands on learning . They supply mechanics with quality tools . Check is always good , forgiving management if you work hard

Cons

Will pay as low as possible . More entry level mechanics than skilled , over working supervisors / management leads to poor decisions .

Pros

Corporate giving; IT Support and technology is good; Nice wellness program and additional health coaching; 401(k); Cool, walkable neighborhood to find places to eat and ways to get errands done after work; The product they make and sell is top notch, and something to be truly proud of.

Cons

Corporate office location not easy to get to, unless you live in the area - minimal bus service, not affordable to live in Ballard or surrounding areas. Communication relies heavily on email, little face to face communication, and very little being done to bring departments together in positive collaboration on projects. Telecommuting is not an option for about 99% of corporate employees. No formal programs to allow people to develop professionally. Compensation is not competitive, and structure for salary increase and bonus could improve. No formal review program, so nothing is based on rewarding by meeting tangible goals.
