Pros

Some teams are very open and good to work with. Google is only their hope

Cons

1. Very badly managed 2. Failed to achieve targets in last 3 years 3. You will be more valued for your college rather than talent.

Pros

Nice, respectful colleagues. Transparent & accessible leadership. Google relationship is a big plus.

Cons

Essentially the entire leadership team spent a long period at Informatica - this gets reflected in the strategy and is not at all a strength. The product has significant potential, but the focus on large enterprise customers to the exclusion of all else has really hampered the product and strategy. Many resources being wasted on delivering one-off customer needs from big names, rather than improving the product overall. There has been recognition that the product needs help for a while, but user issues often get de-prioritized in favor of requests that help close a deal. Company is finally starting to pay the price in renewal and adoption issues. There's a lack of willingness to push the envelope and be innovative/experimental. Definitely doesn't feel like an exciting startup.

Pros

Good place to try out things - explore tools and put in processes etc that you wouldn't get chance to in a big company. Less/no bureaucracy.

Cons

Few folks in the company (One particularly) think that they own the whole place and can treat others any way they want. His sense of entitlement is spoiling up the place as he hold's higher up place in the company. When a conflict is escalated, the exec team usually takes his side. That enforces his entitlement mentality. The guy is eating away the company single handedly - while execs watch him do that.
