Pros

Great benefits, great people, great campus. Good work/life balance.

Cons

Being in business for 40 years means lots and lots of tech debt. Expect slow processes, lots of red tape, redundancies all over the place, and lopsided org structures. Nobody really knows what's going on.

Pros

This is my 1st work culture in which the emphasis is bringing in the right, technical people and letting them do the work. The focus is on the work. Management does not go behind closed doors to make big decisions, and then let everyone know their decisions on a quarterly cadence. Instead, key decisions get made regularly and then are reiterated on (which is appropriate for discovery in tech). I much prefer a work-centered culture versus the previous ones I've been in that were management-centered.

Cons

We have owners with no ownership.

Pros

Lots of opportunities for career advancement and always a new challenge.

Cons

Sometimes departments are very siloed, and that can be a challenge.
