Pros

Good CEO with long and strong track record. Visionary in shaping the direction of the company. Some divisions make working exciting, good people to work with and fun new technology.

Cons

Difficult to get funding and resources to chase new markets and develop new products. Lots of change in organization makes it difficult to keep up with who is doing what. CEO approves all new hires, seems kind on micro managing.

Pros

People are great, writing software for a company that has real hardware being used in the real world is nice, working for a science, tech, & engineering company is nice. Technology stack is nice. Facility is nice.

Cons

Agile SDLC is underdevelopment and a bit painful, seems like the business struggles understanding it's customer, business seems unwilling to sell directly to it's customers and relies a lot on it's re-sellers, not a lot of attention to detail is paid to SOLID principles, code quality, or maintainability of code
