Absolutely toxic work environment. Toxic for residents as well. I was hired on to a property that was being sold. I was told I would get a large bonus as being part of the sale. I was strategically asked to help out at another property and I obliged. Me “helping out” disqualified me from being part of the bonus I was promised. I was then lied to and told I was never told that by regional mgmt. At the new property the property manager shared with me that they were trying to get rid of two other leasing agents but needed to change my job title so that their job title could become unneeded so they could lay them off and keep me. I decided to leave as I couldn’t work for a company that was constantly doing immoral things to their employees and residents (don’t even get me started on the slums they’re selling as homes. Even with the employee discount, I refused to live there). The regional who lied to me retaliated against me. The week I was leaving she had me order food on my uber eats account. After I left she disputed the charges on her corporate card. I emailed the woman who hired me. She never responded but a check showed up in the mail. My last day was supposed to be a Friday. On Thursday the regional sat me in front of her and told me today was actually my last day. She remarked “here’s the employee exit interview, you don’t actually want to fill this out, right?” She made me sit in front of her so she could see my answers as I filled it out. I felt very intimated. Leaving trinity was the best career choice I’ve ever made. In three years I’ve more than doubled the poverty wages I made at Trinity. Truly an unethical company.
