Pros

Very solid systems in place. Great training for beginner salesman.

Cons

There is so much money in solar you can make a ton more at another company. When i started the company had only a few dozen salesman and we got $180/kw, than they started taking away key information like EPC to keep us in the dark over how much money was in the deal. This company loves control and loves to threaten you with lawsuits if you ever think about leaving for another company. Don't drink the cool aid, plenty of better opportunities out their.

Pros

Coworkers were relatively nice and supportive.

Cons

Frat like corporate culture. Employees are promoted based on numbers and often struggle with new roles due to lack of experience. Moral judgements are made on people based on how their month is going numbers-wise. High turnover. Claim to be a Christian company, but many employees actually mock the company's motto of "God, People, Money." If you have a bad month regardless of what causes it, they start questioning your work ethic. Use sly wording in job listings to get people interested, but wait until the last minute to say that it's door-to-door marketing. Most successful company members are white, except for their few tokens (In the North part of the company at least). Cult-like culture. Questioning management can cause you to lose work relationships. For lack of a better term, it's basically a rat race. Manipulate people's "why's" to get them to bring in more money for the company, but in reality when push comes to shove, everyone is simply a number. During my interview I was told that my work/life balance would be great. I ended up working the 34-38 hours promised, but was not made aware of the ever changing work hours and the long commutes to neighborhoods with no gas reimbursement. I understand that college is not for everyone, but many employees including management mock college student employees and overtly make the claim that college is a waste of time and money.
