Pros

Good opportunity to learn Chinese corporate culture. It's very different from many others, especially this Shanghai based Chinese company is pretty unique. I would simply express "there is nothing possible, while there is everything possible

Cons

Working as a foreigner is hard everywhere but could be the hardest here. Take a long time to understand the working environment.

Pros

Home base because there is no office for business development specialist

Cons

-Not much diversity in the job role so you’ll get bored quickly. You're pretty much stuck doing rate parity checks every day and not much else. - Micro managed - The role is not very autonomous – not able to think for yourself, just do as you’re told. - Director is not a very good leader- he doesn't understand Australia Culture - Lots of favouritism and if you're not one of the favourites, then your chances of moving up the ladder or getting recognised will not come.
