      A small number of executives are making bad decisions over and over, repeating the failed playbook. The latest layoff round drained key talent, *dramatically* reduced employee diversity, and left the company with low morale and lack of confidence in the “strategy”.

      Once a Great Place to Work, but No Now

      Pros

      Great employee benefits and compensation. Opportunity to work with smart, capable colleagues who are respectful and collaborative. Pleasant and cozy office environment with a well-stocked pantry offering drinks and snacks and claimable meal (with a budget), which contributes to a comfortable and supportive workplace.

      Cons

      It was once an excellent company to work for—one that I genuinely wanted to grow with and contribute to long term. However, the environment shifted significantly following the change in CEO. Since 2020, recurring annual layoffs have been framed as necessary for company growth, yet there has been little visible progress or sustainable improvement. Critical teams essential to daily operations were eliminated, leadership direction became increasingly unclear, and frequent reorganizations created ongoing instability. What was once a top employer gradually lost its strategic focus, and the organization began to feel as though it was moving without a clear destination.
