Pros

Salary, while working overseas. The pay you'll receive is hard to come by in the states.

Cons

*Company will fire you for any reason. I.E. An employee was fired for posting pictures on Facebook while he or she was in their room. There is nothing in the policy against posting picture while in the privacy of your room. * Another employee backed into object with ground guide and was fired because he reported the incident, (trying to do the right thing). *The continuous lies from management about not receiving pay reductions. Employees were told that the pay would not reduce but it did. The company used to pay it's employees 7 days a week but now it's down to 6 days a week. * Triple Canopy requires it's employees to pay Iraqi Country Tax, which is approximately 1100.00 per month. This tax is considered a Company Tax. A company which operates in Iraq is required to pay this tax but TC deducts the tax out of it's employees' check. Several other Security companies that operate in Iraq do not require their employees to pay this Corporation tax, SOC is just one example. * The company tells you, you'll be required to work 105 days but when you arrive back from leave or it's your first contract. They will extend you without notification. * While you are in training; the staff will tell you, "you will get your WPS I certificate when you get on your first contract". That is a lie. Corporate is / will refuse to give you your certification.
