Pros

They invest a great deal of time and money towards training you- both regulatory if you're a field worker (OSHA, EPA, DOT, RCRA) and additional training (Leadership and Communication, Effective Leaders). Because of this, your skillset grows an enormous amount. Also, the Managers there are pleasant to work with and very knowledgeable

Cons

You will be required to put in longer hours, about 45-50 depending on your position. But they are incredibly upfront about it throughout the interview process so you know what you're getting into so you're not surprised if you are just looking for a boring 8-4 right out of college.

Pros

-Training is amazing; I learned alot about the EHS field and was thoroughly trained in regulations and safety. It really prepared me well for my next job in the EHS field. -Room for growth is there for those that work hard and meet the corporate profile -The people at Triumvirate are absolutely amazing

Cons

-The work hours are ridiculous. Isn't this illegal somehow? -Scheduling is disorganized - I would prefer to know my schedule in advance but often it's not until the night before that i found out what I'm doing the next day - and then sometimes it changes from there. -The company has contradictory safety practices - they'll fire you if you don't wear your seat belt, but don't always give you the proper training or tools to do your job safely. They seriously fired a good employee because he wasn't wearing his seat belt while driving a very short distance on company property. -Everyone I know at Triumvirate complains about their pay. I for one know that I was very underpaid because I got a big raise with my new job. -Management of the company treat people from rich kid schools preferentially - kids who went to these schools are promoted simply because they went to them. It's unfair to those of us who work hard but couldn't afford to go to the alma maters of the rich executives. -Turnover is extremely high - lots of good people, and long term people, have left the company, this causes a lot of stress on remaining employees, especiallyh on the environmental specialists as the senior people who want to move on to new jobs are always pulled back into the field because people leave. Almost the entire consulting department has left or is looking to leave. -Management is poorly trained, does not give feedback, and are perhaps just not ready or able to be good managers -The benefits are pretty good - but there is no 401k match.
