Pros

I recently had to rewrite my resume for a training that Triumvirate sent me to. I thought that I would pull out the one that put me through the door here, make a few updates and be done with it. But, in the time I have worked here I have been responsible for such an incredible array of activities I had a difficult time in choosing what to leave out. When I then began to review my employment history I had the realization that I was suddenly a professional in possession of a highly marketable skillset. I had officially grown up. It seems to me that many of the reviews here were written during a time of stressful transition prompted by the recent economic meltdown and subsequent recession. They are valid (too a degree) at the point in time in which they were written. But as of now I will tell you that this company is growing and has a voracious appetite for talent and internal promotion. The people that succeed here are the people that are driven to succeed. Ultimately, employment is an agreement between an individual and an employer. It is the responsibility of both parties to ensure a balanced relationship, and both parties must commit to creating a mutually beneficial environment. When I look around the office I see a very large percentage of employees who began their tenure in the field, who have at every turn, through both challenge and ease owned their work and completed it to the best of their abilities. As I see it, this is the foundation for Triumvirates continuing success.

Cons

This is a hard working place. There is no doubt about that. And if there were one thing that I would fault this company for it would be that the balance between work and life is not often in equilibrium. Operational employees in particular work hard and long hours. It is a place to cut your teeth, a place to build a foundation. Would I like to see a better compensation package? Of course - who wouldn’t? But I have to be realistic in my expectations and I don’t expect a handout. What I do know is that this company demands hard and high level work, and that it is not for everyone. But if you want to work in a place where you will be given the opportunity to grow and develop an array of skills and abilities through hard work and dedication, watch those around you succeed and move forward, and possibly receive recognition through promotion yourself then this is the place for you.

Pros

At Triumvirate, there are great pportunities to learn and to move up within the company if the interest and desire are there. There is a high potential for professional growth. There are many positive and energetic people that work at Triumvirate. The benefits package is competitive with other environmental services companies

Cons

extremely long hours do not allow for very much leeway with personal life. As the company has grown, pressure has been placed on its management structure and communication skills to evolve.

Pros

Triumvirate is a great place to work because of the people. You meet energetic, driven and focused young professionals at Tei and you learn from a team of very knowledgable and experienced experts in the field of hazardous waste and environmental health and safety. You are given a lot of reponsibility early on and if you are able to prove your potential and your hunger to grow within the company you will find opportunities. It's a fun, small company where you can really make a difference. The upper management repects all employees and strongly suggests we give them any and all feedback - good or bad. Have a voice? Triumvirate will listen.

Cons

The one bad thing about Triumvirate is that we work at a lot of prestigious clients that value great people and often times they steal away some of our great chemists to work at their own establishments. It's a bummer to not be able to continue working with these great people, but it is fun if they are hired at clients' companies so that we can catch up with them from time to time
