Pros

Decent pay, nice benefits. Easy work. Shift work 12 hour days. Co-workers are very helpful and nice.

Cons

Overtime is mandatory, which is not told to you when hired, they say overtime is available. You will be fired for not working overtime. Even if you do work overtime but need a day off for an appointment that you scheduled based off of your work schedule you will be fired with no warning.

Pros

Unlimited overtime if you like to live at work, union shop(weak union), very good benefits, fair pay, weekly pay. Unskilled jobs do not require much of any knowledge.

Cons

Expect to work 7 days a week 12 hour shifts, unless you have 40 years of seniority. OSHA violations everywhere. No heat or AC, 130 degrees in the plant in the summer/freeze in the winter. The management is a joke, from HR to production to the floor. Production manager was someone who went to electrical school, came to Trivium 30 years ago to be an electrician, and took 2 years to learn how to bend conduit and use a pipe threader. Then they use the at-will employment law to get rid of people a day before they are at their 90 days probation. Using a temp agency to avoid HR nightmares. Then the employees have to work for the temp for 89 days and then 89 days as a Trivium employee, then get fired for anything. They don’t invest in their employees well-being. HR manager is in position by default. Floor supervisors are promotions from unskilled palletizer jobs on the floor. No defined new employee training.
