Pros

This was a family orientated Company before Tronox and "?" took it over. I was very EXTREMELY proud to tell people that I worked for Bemax, or even Cristal/Tasnee! I was so happy!!! But now....there is no pride to work with Tronox.. The feeling of working in a Company that cares about you is gone. Now it is just an office back patting exercise... Best part is the pay and the rostered Time off-5/5! :))

Cons

Hypocrites! Can't trust them... A whole month was dedicated to rainbows and shoelace beads!! But "? " shuts down ONE SMOKO that was dedicated to Men's health, on Mental Health Day for no apparent reason!!??.. PS, 95+% of people on the ground extracting the Mineral are straight white males..Yet he disallows one smoko that concerns the 95+% of the workers doing the manual labour there. How does our "?" explain this...? This Company is so very Office focused with a revolving door of office jobs, with names of positions never heard of before ,constantly changing worthless office and computer systems, and grovelling back patting each other for useless operating systems that make operators jobs more difficult, and easier for office staff,,yet nothing has changed in extracting the Mineral from the earth! We are still using 20+ year old tech and equipment... Hopefully after my redundancy this Woke Company will Go Broke!!

Pros

Decent salary Good benefits - pension, healthcare, 9 day fortnight, flexible working Friendly colleagues

Cons

The plant has had several changes in ownership over its 70 year history. It’s a COMAH site and is subject to a high degree of scrutiny from HSE and Environment Agency. There is a lack of investment in the infrastructure. Lack of vision for the future of the site. Poor communication from senior leadership (US based, too many levels of management)
