      Pros

      Good 401K contributions. They match up to 6% plus give an additional 6% on top of that with 100% vestment from day 1. The health benefits aren't bad. You get a 3rd week of vacation at the 5 year mark. People are very nice in general. Very layed back work environment.

      Cons

      Understaffed in key areas. Some people in leadership positions who are under qualified and incompetent. Lack of any continuing education or 6 sigma training. Very disorganized engineering efforts. Too soft on lazy or incompetent engineers.

      Pros

      Good pay Good work-life balance Low-key culture The benefits were great as well as the balance. It wasn't often that work traveled home with me.

      Cons

      Unionized environment Lacking career development program The union makes it difficult to cause change for good. There wasn't a lot of emphasis in career development.

      Pros

      Got to travel internationally. People all over the world trying to make this work, but impossible given the history and the markets.

      Cons

      No leadership. Margin business which has been cutting for years. No upside to increase revenue sine they cut R&D long ago. Just producing a commodity product whether management believes it or not.
