Flexible schedule, a few hard working employees, and good benefits

Cons

Overworked and underpaid. Pay at Troy is much less than any other higher education institution with the same position. Many employees come and go when they won’t and don’t work, which puts more on the good employees. Leadership does nothing about misconduct of employees.

- Lots of free time depending on your advisor - Lower tuition than other universities

Cons

- I would have probably got more money working at McDonalds - If you are an international. You will still need financial support from your family (You cannot legally work at other jobs) - I could barely afford an apartment even sharing with 6 more people - Teachers are condesending to TAs; they treat you like you do not already have a degree (Compared to other graduate programs)
