I truly enjoy the team I work with at TruGreen because everyone is supportive, collaborative, and willing to help each other succeed. The company offers a great work-life balance, which makes it easier to perform well while also having time for personal priorities. I’ve been able to learn new skills that help me grow in my position and prepare for future advancements within the company. Management is open to hearing new ideas and suggestions, which makes me feel valued and empowered to contribute beyond my daily responsibilities. The onboarding experience yields inconsistent results, hindered by an extensive training program that prioritizes regulatory compliance over practical skill development. Rather than effectively preparing new employees for their roles, the training appears designed primarily to satisfy policy requirements and documentation standards. The tools and equipment issued to staff are outdated and inadequate for daily operations. Similarly, the personal protective equipment falls well below acceptable quality standards, making it unsuitable for the demanding conditions faced by field personnel. These resource limitations create additional challenges for employees attempting to perform their duties safely and effectively. The organization promotes a public image of inclusivity and employee development through corporate messaging and policies, yet fails to demonstrate genuine commitment to these values in practice.
