      Pros

      Very pleasant work environment in a great city. Liked the project management team I worked with very much. Nice to walk around office and see smiling people.

      Cons

      PMO has had big ups and downs. The contractors were placed in dark cubes in the basement. Most people worked in common areas instead.

      Pros

      Excellent flexibility- ideal for working parents of young children. Good job if you are not promoted and want to remain a specialist.

      Cons

      Way to many mid level managers fighting for attention, projects, etc. Very phony atmosphere- fake "Buzz Words" fly around like a bad cold (e.g. "Touch base", "Drill Down", "Reduce Scope") Many people looking to look good and make an impression - Many people willing to lie and throw others under the bus and not take responsibility where they need to. A lot of managers are in way over their head. IT projects are a joke- way to many meetings and the cost for basic updates that are critical to customers and back office is outrageous. This leads to huge cuts in the projects and nothing gets done ever. Very Frustrating.
