Pros
The cubicles are decent sized. The on-site gym. The benefits are great. Awesome work-life balance.
Cons
1. Too many managers that try to bully/intimidate you and know every little about what you do. 2. When things go wrong because there was an unrealistic deadline and you were too swamped to test things thoroughly, you get blamed over and over again and you hear about it from different departments. 3. There is no diversity, CUNA only hires people of one race. 4. CUNA does not like adapting new technologies! Most managers feel that they need to keep on using the same technology they used twenty years ago for fear that introducing updated technology will agitate customers and end up giving them (managers) a bad reputation. 5. Managers always "accidentally" walking to your desk to look over your shoulder to see what you are working on. God forbid you are not at your desk or are doing something else! 6. Cafeteria food is expensive! 7. Building is bland. Nothing to look at. 8. Contractors are treated like second class employees. 9. Pay is below market. 10. Too many meetings about meetings! 11. Too many "Lifers" work here who just coast and jealously guard their positions at all cost. Even if it means stifling all new ideas so as not to make them look incompetent. 12. People are graded on a curve.
