      Pros

      Never bring your work home. CUNA Mutual will pay for your license in a 50 states. After one year, you can attempt moving around in a large company.

      Cons

      Call center environment. High turnover department. Poor base salary ($24,000). Incentives contradict the "member experience," or what is best for the customer. Every minute of your day, besides lunch, is scheduled. If your break goes over 10 minutes you'll need to submit a schedule change. Workforce management and the management on the floor asks you to keep them accountable, but only after a rah-rah session.

      Pros

      Benefits are really good and pay is decent. The company is in a profitable market which helps our bonus checks.

      Cons

      The IT structure really seems to segregate the collaboration between and across departments. There are a LOT of managers when there needs to be more full time employees. Several areas of IT are short staffed with no look at hiring support for those areas. The union aspect seems to lock down the amount you can make and the only way to get a raise outside of the yearly raise is to get a promotion. In my area, they do not seem to think continuing education is beneficial and do no budget for it.
