Pros

CUNA Mutual offers the challenges of interesting work assignments with benefits of working for a midwestern company. There is a great working environment with the atrium and increasing number of collaborative work spaces. They also invest extensively in talent management.

Cons

There can be a lot of change/reorganization. Often it is small, just tweaking reporting lines. But, it can add some confusion.

Pros

Starting salaries and most benefits are great - 3 weeks vacation, plenty of personal (sick) time, annual bonuses; underground parking, onsite gym, flexibility with hours & work-from-home options, very philanthropic

Cons

Middle management is lacking in experience as they are not usually experienced or trained for the role, cubicle-land makes it distracting at times, recent change of CEO is giving those in the company a sense of drudgery.

Pros

Good work life balance, good compensation and benefits. Madison is a nice place to raise a family.

Cons

Slow career advancement, resistant to change, mediocrity in senior management
