      Pros

      TruStage makes a big deal about how dedicated they are to the idea that a "brighter financial future should be accessible to everyone." TruStage makes a big deal about how they "do the right thing." TruStage makes a big deal about how dedicated they are to "the community." The only "pro" is that there is a union at this workplace. The union secures certain benefits for workers, and is the only mechanism in place to prevent the total outright exploitation of employees.

      Cons

      TruStage can put whatever they want on their website, but the reality for many employees is a completely different story. If you're not a manager, you are underpaid, retaliated against by management, and constantly belittled. There is zero possibility for career advancement. Their commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion is a transparent (and distasteful) PR play.

      Pros

      I had worked for TruStage (formerly as CUNA Mutual Group) for three years. They have really good work life balance and they offer fully remote work option. They care about their employees and provide a lot of support.

      Cons

      If you are new to the area, it is relatively hard to get to know more people around since most of the employees are working remotely now.
