Pros

Most stable company in the industry - always work to do and never fear of losing the job. Nice benefits not offered at other companies.

Cons

Poor work life balance - you have limited time off and even the salaried employees are required to clock in and clock out. The factory is HOT in the summer time with no A/C.

Pros

True has plenty of opportunities for people that are willing to work hard and put in a good day's work. This is not the place to work if you want to Twitter and browse your Facebook account all day. True is the leading commercial refrigeration manufacturer in the world and we did not get where we are by playing around all day. We have issues just like any other company, but we recognize those shortcomings and are slowly migrating to be a more open and progressive company while balancing our history and core principles at the same time.

Cons

True does not have a flexible work environment at all. True is very stringent on attendance and does a poor job of letting employees balance their work and private schedules. Which is unfortunate when the owners make millions of dollars on the backs of the employees and have all of the flexibility and vacation time they want. This sets a bad example from top down.
