Management, HR, IT, corporate, etc., we’re all so terrible and unreliable. When issues arose the (and I quote) pharmacist in charge would tell employees that we let it happen, and we needed to do better, when obviously, to avoid conflict with other employees, that’s his job. They victim shamed, very consistently required mandatory OT to meet their numbers, not even considering that people have a life outside of this job. It was never mentioned when hiring that MOT would be a thing, and suddenly a few months later, they revised the handbook and made everyone sign it, that we agreed to do it, but of course, we needed a job, and then came the time of Summer 2021 when there was no air conditioning and they had people working in here with no air flow, and it being around 110-115° in the pharmacy. I came in at 4 o’clock that morning to try and beat the heat, to no avail, though. There are terrible benefits, and after many times of being promised raises, I never got one, and then came a time when everyone did, and I was then the lowest paid employee, and I asked for a modest increase, and the manager said he would speak with HR, which he didn’t, I eventually did, and was told “everyone should be getting a raise sometime soon after we sort out our finances.” I’m not worth a raise unless everyone is getting one? I was good at my job, I got along with all but one person, I came in early, I stayed late, I came in on my days off, etc. Life is unfair, but that was just garbage. Such a terrible company to drag employees through the mud, and string them along and offer virtually no benefits. They’ve promised 401k match for years, and tuition reimbursement is written in the handbook and they don’t offer either. We had gone through 3 pharmacist in charge in just 15 months. What a disaster. So many people have left, and it’s just a poop show. I can almost guarantee this company will run itself into the ground within the next few years.
