Thank you for responding and acknowledging what's working well. But, I'm sorry to hear you had a poor experience with a few things. However , we 100% believe in our employees. Which is reflected in our recently selected as a Top Company on Glassdoor & the Denver Business Journal (voted on by our employees). And, we haven't changed our compensation plans in months, so not sure how things may have changed for you. That said, we don't get everything right all the time, but our hearts are certainly in the right place. But, I'd love to hear any details from you on how we could be better or to help clarify some things you experienced. I can be reached at gbland@zillow.com anytime. Best of luck in your new endeavors. And, thanks again for your feedback! Greg Bland, VP Sales & Denver Site Director Less

Pros

I joined Trulia in the early days, in 2010. I fell in love with the company and I stayed in love until it became public. After IPO, focus shifted into pleasing shareholders (rightly so) but that meant that short term projects took over and the customer-value related projects were left behind. Still, it was a career changing experience, particularly from 2010 to 2012. Loved the people that worked there, although a lot of them left when Trulia was acquired by Zillow.

Cons

Any company has pros and cons. The pros usually compensated for the cons. I guess the thing I disliked the most was the short term focus the company had when I left.

Hi - thanks for your review. I'm glad you had such an amazing experience at Trulia. We continue to create once-in-a-lifetime-experiences for our employees, where people can innovate and grow in a fun and supportive environment. And one of the benefits of joining forces with Zillow it's allowed us to deliver even more customer value, and make even more long-term bets. - Paul Levine (President)

Pros

Once you leave, you get a true appreciation for how great the environment was. Every company will have some positive and negative, but for sure the people and the culture was the best I've ever experienced.

Cons

Not much to say here. Minor office politics and growing pains but that was to be expected. Glad to see they finally cleared out the orange demon that was polarizing that place.

Hello and thank you for the great feedback! I'm glad to hear your experiences with the people and culture were so positive. Agree, sometimes you don't know how great something is, until you've had other experiences. I appreciate you acknowledging that. We certainly aren't perfect, but we work hard to keep making things better. Thanks again! Greg Bland, VP Sales & Denver Office Leader
