Pros

The only pros was getting to travel to different locations around the US

Cons

I was never home, constantly dealing with situations other people put you in, dealing with angry costumers, dealing with different managers, other departments constantly messing things up and us engineers having to fix things. We were always expected to make miracles happen, difficult managers to deal with. Everyone always wanted to tell us what to do and how to do our job. Support was horrible and would typically delay the jobs or making them take longer than they needed to be.

Pros

Collect benefits from weekly travel all across the country. $50 per diem for food while traveling. Hotel and travel costs covered by company. Enjoy weeks off during December and the end of November due to retail blackouts during the holiday season.

Cons

Not a job for someone who enjoys spending time with their family. Expect to be on the road 5-6 days out of the week working extremely long hours doing manual labor. Often working overnight on travel days leading to being awake for 24-36 hours at a time. The ideal candidate is a young single person looking to travel the country.
