Pros

Most of top Senior Management(CEO, CFO, & others) have 20+ years with the company. They know the company, it's history, it's employees, and it's culture. Overall most management makes themselves available to all levels of employees.

Cons

There can be disparate application of the performance rating scale, promotion progression, and pay-scale accross different divisions and departments.

Pros

The company is solid and the work is fairly easy. There are some great people working there. You do not have to worry about losing your job so long as you are respectful and don't do anything illegal or unethical.

Cons

There are some departments and branches that have good management, But overall the management is terrible. Customers can be great, but sometimes they are just terrible.
