Pros

Good coworkers, day to day work not to challenging.

Cons

Terrible pay. Raises are very little even with promotions. I could go to another bank and make 4 or 5 thousand more a year just being a teller than I am at Trustmark.

Pros

The Hours/Not working weekends

Cons

Horrible leaderships, management, HR ect. Small bank in Houston market , branches operate with 3 to 4 people. The retail side of the bank is treated horribly compared to the commercial side. Managers treat you bad just because you aren’t upper management and if you were to express your concern about being treated poorly the manager and HR will sit you down for a meeting and basically tell you that they don’t care how you feel or treat you like your incompetent and misunderstood the bad treatment. Everything is made to be a big deal and HR gets involved in everything which seems like that would be a good thing only it’s not. They give you a hard time if you go to the DR or anything medical, and they will question your doctors notes. The whole company has a bad gossiping problem (everyone talks negatively about everyone) The pay is very low by industry standards, there are incentives you could get but extremely low. The bank is very out dated, technology wise and banking interior/exterior wise. No one leaves their job so there’s literally no room for advancement and on the few occasions someone did get promoted there was no pay increase. System always crashes. With most jobs now in days you perform multiple different task as with this company however it make no sense for a company to lay off a department that they didn’t believe they needed but then make Bankers in the Branch do the work that they don’t know how to do and with no raise included. The cons could literally go on forever.
