Trustmark is not who you want to work for

Pros

It could be a good work environment if you have the right team at the right time.

Cons

They help who they want to help. They promote who they want to promote. They are very bias and in some cases very discriminatory. They have the work at will doctrine, which helps them do what they do with little or no explanation. They do not value their long term employees.

Pros

I love working for this company! My manager is simply awesome. This is the first job I've had in my 10+ year career where I can go to work, do my job, and then leave the stress at work. Speaking of stress, it's pretty non-existent at this job. I don't have to worry about getting called at some weird hour of the night to come in. In scenarios where I have to work outside of the typical 8-5, I can remote in and work from home. Additionally, it's an odd flavoring of environment. Because our team serves as a sort of McGyver for other departments, we have a lot of variety in our projects. Being able to constantly work on new things, incorporate modern technologies and practices into the environment, and have freedom in a large number of design decisions is really, really amazing.

Cons

It would be great if the company would help developers with training, additional software, and better hardware.
