Pros

Free checking account was nice.

Cons

I worked at Trustmark for 90 days (quit during my probation review). I didn't get a long with anybody in my branch. Not that they necessarily were mean or argumentative but they were all alot older and often spoke as if I were not there. They were all women too. 14 women and 1 male (me). Not fun.

Pros

Company is great to work for. Very involved in the community. Has great benefits as well as 401K.

Cons

Local market is very hard to move up in and is all about who you know.

Pros

Good people at the local level, true community bank in terms of autonomy and authoprity

Cons

No salary increase for 5 years, no bonus, no incentive, employee share of benefits increased almost every year. Executive leadership was over matched with the task of running a large multiple state community bank.
