Pros

The co-workers are generally nice. The company has an ESOP if you are a long term employee.

Cons

They pay you minimum wage with a promise of commission. Not all locations are equal by a large margin. If you get in a location that is slow they will do nothing to increase the business. They let you know that there are leads provided and obviously it is a rental environment so there should be traffic. They praise people that have a great location for just taking orders. They will not do anything to increase the sales for your location so that means you will not get the increase in hourly and not make much commission if you are stuck in one of those locations. You are penalized on both fronts for a sow location due to the company’s fault.

Thank you for your review. We welcome the opportunity for you to speak to your experience. I'm sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction with our commission and compensation plan. The plan addresses your concerns as it helps our Sales Design Consultants (SDC) to be successful and acclimate within all working environments and "locations" as you describe. All locations follow the same plan. In the end, we trust our SDC's to attain the successful attributes of a Sales Design Consultant which includes, possessing ambition and drive; a willingness to accept responsibility; and taking action and being proactive. These are a few traits that lead the path to success at Tuff Shed. Again, thank you and we wish you the very best of luck.

Pros

The other employees that are treated like garbage. You become family

Cons

Poor pay for way to much work, unrealistic goals, awful management, can't keep an employee for longer than a month, empty promises, treat their workers like brainless slaves, coddle and advance the drug addicts, talked down to and picked apart and its allowed.

I regret to read your comments. After 3-4 years with the company, have you tried reaching out to your store management about your concerns? Your comments are concerning and I would hope you have not been enduring such an experience for so long. If you are not comfortable discussing this with your direct manager, I encourage you to reach out to HR.
