Pros

great name recognition..Shed business is good in most economys..during recessions a lot of adult children moved back home making extra storage a need, there are many opportunities for sales, to city state and federal government agencies .

Cons

The sales person is expected to cover the Phones and play receptionist, and also to do site checks, the commission percentage is very low ..5%-6% ... Very poor insurance plan, and no other benefits ..I was the top salesperson in the store I worked in , and they let me go with no reason given, but I think they decided to get rid of me because they had more sales people than they need because moving the Factory to a new location .I was a very hard working dependable sales person, I find it hard to take that a company that I worked hard to bring the sales up to tops in the division didn't even give me a reason for letting me go

Pros

No weekends. Benefits are fair (as long as you stay within the allotted allowance given). NON management employees are actually decent people.

Cons

GM's get away with neglecting their store.Sadly my store went without toilet paper, hand soap, working drills, sharp saw blades (on tables) for MONTHS.The GM voiced not wanting to spend money to ammend obvious details that go into a proper working environment.Employees were not respected and were constantly teased and made fun of. Zero opportunity for growth; no promotions and you had to fight tooth and nail to get even a .50 cent raise.Employees expected to do tasks outside of their job description or they "face the consequences" (a.k.a. "get laid off" with no job attachment to return the next working cycle). Any complaints or voiced concerns fall on deaf ears unless youre a whiney customer, and actually worked against you as an employee.
