Pros

I was so proud to work here. Told everyone around me how great it was. Then they show their true colors. Guess what pay cuts all around! Well not the "Executives" gotta make sure there is enough money to go around for them. I worked hard for this company. Only to feel betrayed and lied to. Upper management act like they are better than everyone. You should be ashamed your people out there doing everything you ask and you treat them like they are less than you. Make sure you do those glassdoor reviews everyone! They shove that down your throat every chance they get. Make the greedy folks at the top even more rich while you are a bottom feeder. Disgusted.

Cons

I would rather shovel cow crap than work for this greedy company. I am ashamed of myself for believing they were a good company.

Pros

Support employees who are overworked and underpaid.

Cons

Our "stay until the work is done" policy isn't correct. When they require the manufacture, painting, stacking and racking of 12-16 buildings per day. Buildings totally prepared to be installed built in one day. They make the day 13 hours long--and sometimes longer. The work week rolls into Saturday--60 plus hours per week. Pay raise..Per our supervisors "we are only allowed to give a 3 percent pay raise by corporate but because we work so much overtime and can't meet our hours and goals we can only give you a 1.5% pay raise"..the cost of living in portland oregon area went up over 3%???? Pay raise??? And if we work so much overtime --why do we have to beg to leave before the max allowed by law 13 hours. Why do they "not approve" requests for vacation time? Why do they change your time sheet in the computer to "unpaid day off" "ABSENT" when you call in sick in accordance with company policy. Why do the make every attempt ---threats, intimidation ?? to make you not not request days off for doctors, vacation..whatever. Why in God's Name do they schedule more work than can possibly be done in a 13 hour day--and complain about our overtime--not letting us go home.. Do the managers get a big bonus or something that we don't know about. Some of the managers say that they like us to work overtime--because they have to stay also--they need the money so badly. I don't understand their motivation. They referred to us as trained monkeys.

Thanks for your review. The Tuff Shed management recognizes that summer is a very busy time and much hard work is demanded of our factory employees during this intense time period. We appreciate that effort and try to reward it appropriately. However, the company takes issue with any suggestion that it operates outside the requirements of any applicable labor law or code.

Pros

Plenty of locations throughout the country if you need to relocate

Cons

The corporate managers and General Managers make great money, but the sales associates, prefab teams and general contractors make very little money.
