      Pros

      Very collaborative environment, interdisciplinary research is encouraged. Very competitive salary compared to the national average. Laid back work culture. Facilities are fairly up to date.

      Cons

      The lack of cohesion between the biomedical sciences program and the departments the students end up settling in can cause frustration and miscommunication.

      Pros

      Tulane offers a lot of opportunities for students to work on campus, whether you have work study or not. If you're lucky, you can even get a job in your field doing research or working with a professor. There are job opportunities everywhere, from the recreational center to the library, that pay decent wages. Some even offer opportunities for advancement, which can be pretty rare for a student job.

      Cons

      If you're a science major, there will be a lot of opportunities for you to work with professors. If you are anything other than a science major, it will be much harder to find a similar opportunity. They exist, there are just less of them.
