      Relative long-term job stability, supportive work environment, very reasonable hours, generous fringe benefits (such as tuition waiver) and opportunity to have positive impact on the overall direction of the University.

      Cons

      Limited upward mobility, many layers of management in University hierarchy, budget constraints leave little room for pay increases or promotions.

      Pros

      friendly, sincere people. as a student, I enjoyed lots of extracurriculum activities. I met lots of interesting people there.

      Cons

      too relaxed. sometimes efficiency is very low. sometimes not any work progress. new orleans is not a very safe city. after mardi gras, the whole city is quite dirty.
