County Counsel’s Office has great leadership

Pros

Management is down to earth and family oriented. Jeff Kuhn, in particular, is the type of supervisor that most people want to work for. But the whole office exuded a fair and reasonable vibe. They have a “no jerks” rule there. The attorneys seemed fun to work with and were easy to talk to. Great camaraderie! The benefits were better than most other county counsel’s offices. For example, there was more vacation time. Sequoia National Park is very close. Cost of living is far less than Bay Area or SoCal.

Cons

I didn’t find a whole lot of cons. The pay is less than bigger counties but more than smaller counties.

Great vacation benefits and depending on the department you may be able to have a flexible schedule.

Cons

Don't question the status quo or else...
