Great place for career promotion

Pros

I started at the firm as an almost entry level associate. Within a year, I was managing my own case load, and within 3 years, I was promoted to Senior Associate. I was promoted to Partner just a little over a year later, less than 7 years after I started practicing. Along the way, I have had access to great mentors who have cared about my career progression and development as an attorney and litigator. I have been guided by some of the best lawyers in our field. While the firm provides oversight to make sure all attorneys stay on track with cases, I was given considerable autonomy to make strategic decision on my cases. It is an excellent place to grow and develop!

Cons

Being a lawyer takes a lot of hard work and Tully Rinckey prides itself on its high standards. However, that's what makes its attorneys the best they can be.

Pros

Tully Rinckey places a strong focus on developing its attorneys, all the while looking for new talent to join an ever expanding Firm. The Firm places a strong emphasis on mentorship and delegation with the intention of providing attorneys with the resources they need to develop professionally. The Firm's emphasis on technology provides attorneys with the "toys" they need. The technology also has the benefit of helping with work-life balance. The Firm is very family friendly and understands that life happens. By providing access to emails or VPN technology, attorneys are able to do the work when they need to. Finally, the Firm is committed to helping the attorneys accomplish their work as efficiently as possible. The Firm employs a strong group of finance, marketing, IT, and Client Relations employees, who all work together to help the attorney reduce their administrative time. This focus on the "team" approach involves every employee and creates a very collaborative working environment.

Cons

The Firm's aspirations to continue to grow and expand are a constant theme. If you do not like change, this is not the place to work. Changes are never overnight, and they are always well planned in advance, but anyone who struggles with growth or change is going to have a hard time.
