Amazing company, co-founders, and full of opportunity!
Pros
In my career I've spent time at both Fortune 500 companies and well recognized startups. However, I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, my time at Turn5 was the most influential on my career to date. In my two years at Turn5 I not only learned more about effective marketing (and how it relates to the automotive space), I also received a first-hand look at how to run an ecommerce business. Andrew and Steve are both amazing co-founders and they are fully invested in growing and helping their employees to succeed! If you want to learn more about business they are very willing teachers! The culture of Turn5 is very results driven. You have to work hard and work smart. You need to hit your goals. You need to innovate, and then continue to innovate. You need to know your channels data like the back-of-your-hand. And you can't be intimidated by the fact that you may get questioned on why something did or didn't perform. Untimely this is all positive, and geared towards improving the company and you as an employee. Bottom line - if you are willing to work hard and solve problems every day this is the place for you! I found the fast pace, and focus on results to be a huge help in shaping my career! I loved my time at Turn5. I will always look back at my time there as some of the happiest and most rewarding days of my career. So why did I leave? Ultimately I received a new opportunity that I knew would push me into a new and exciting chapter. However, I really hope to keep in touch with my Turn5 family and work with them some day in the future!
Cons
During my time at Turn5 there were tariff and economic concerns impacting the business. I know these aren't issues that management always has fully figured out, but more frequent open communication on the state of the business would help to lessen the rumor mill.
