Pros

Young and upbeat culture. The owners go the extra mile for their staff and very much care.

Cons

Very poor management from the Director level and down. Employees and teams are held to different standards. No clear communicaton, no guidance and goals are never given on time. No support or action taken when necessary. Very immature staff, starting rumors and feeding off of drama. Everyone will always be deeply routed in your personal and professional business. HR does nothing but hire staff. They offer no support, if they do give advice it stops there. One of the biggest problems at Turn5 is staff often dating causing harm to the culture. This has been proven to cause tension between teams. This makes working at T5 unenjoyable.

Hi there. I’m disappointed to read about your experience, and I assure you, we’re taking this very seriously. As a rapidly growing company, we need to remember that managers need development just as much as junior staff. We are making our timelines for quarterly goal distribution stricter. That means that managers and directors are accountable for team performance and development. Our HR team advises and supports managers on how to handle issues with their teams, but we want managers to handle as many decisions as possible so that they feel invested in the solution. However, the HR group invites any employee to seek counsel or intervention when necessary. We strive to advance our team members and give them a chance to excel in their role and grow with our company. I’m sorry that this wasn’t your experience, and we’ll work hard to ensure that others don’t feel this way in the future. Best of luck in your new job!
