Pros

At Turner Construction Co. the employees are the greatest assets. This being said Turner recognizes this and offers employees great benefits, competitive salary, and extensive professional training. Turner aims to retain employees for life. Their core values are integrity, teamwork, and commitment which aligns with how they treat their employees. They stress work/life balance and certainly support it. Overall a great place to work minus the CONS listed below.

Cons

There are not many cons to working for Turner, especially depending on how driven you are. I'm a very motivated and intelligent individual whom expects to be rewarded for going above and beyond. Turner does not do a very good job of meeting my needs in this area. They seem to treat everyone in the same manner whether they are the "A" players or "C" players. This leads to Turner not retaining their top talent. Salaries are generally lower than other construction companies especially if you are a "go-getter" as described above. Very corporate structure.

Pros

Great place to build a career Embraces Diversity BIM, Innovation and Lean Strong Safety Culture Strong Ethics and Integrity Work Life Balance If you like to be part of some very special and unique projects, Turner is the place to be. They employ very bright and energetic people. It is an absolute pleasure to manage intelligent staff who are committed to their personal development.

Cons

As an experienced hire, you need to work harder than the rest to build trust within the organization. I know this first hand. It is starting over, regardless of how great you were at a previous company(s). Our training and knowledge transfer to support the growth of younger staff needs more focus (common to most companies).
