The people in my division were generally kind, smart, and mission-driven. I learned a lot from them and enjoyed working with them every day. I also enjoyed working on a product that can have positive impacts on people and society through better data accessibility and analysis.

Cons

The larger organization likes to say the right things (diversity, inclusion, supporting employees), but then doesn't offer material benefits like paid parental leave or flexible work/time-off. The demands on engineers is still like a start-up but it's a large company, and they don't have any way to prevent or deal with burn out.
