Pros

All the staff at the Human Resources and at my center were very welcoming! I felt wanted and important. I knew right from the start that this would be a great company to work for. I also hear that statement frequently through other staff members. Which gives me a reassurance that I did make the right placement for myself.

Cons

The only thing that comes to mind is getting these new germs from children and becoming sick often.

Pros

U-Gro encourages professional development and growth. Employees attend mandatory training to refresh skills and learn new ways of teaching/thinking. They offer great health benefits to employees, as well as childcare discounts. The best part of working here is being able to see children grow and apply what you have taught them. It also gives you an opportunity to grow relationships with families.

Cons

The pay leaves much to be desired. I was offered much less than what I was originally asking. The center tries to stay open, even in bad weather, which can make for a difficult drive to work.
