Interesting work, good benefits. Salary is livable if you can enter as a relatively senior policy staffer with a grad degree.

Cons

Office environment is entirely Member dependent - without a good network to give you the lowdown about a particular office, you might be walking into a nightmare. Salary for junior level employees is appalling.
