We’re glad you mentioned the benefits and volunteer opportunities we provide team members, and wellness is one of the driving forces of an engaged workplace culture! Our CEO and President John Schmidt often always says, “Your health is your wealth.” It couldn’t be a truer statement, and we encourage our team members to take advantage of all the many offerings the company provides for pursuing a healthy lifestyle. U.S. Venture has seen incredible growth the last five years, which has presented some challenges with making sure everyone is receiving company news & important updates. We have different communication methods in place to ensure team members in our warehouses hear this information, and there are a few new tools we’ll be exploring in the coming months to improve this, as it’s vitally important to make sure team members everywhere are tuned in. We are committed to developing and promoting our workforce, and it might have happened that you noticed team members taking on new roles around the same time. We provide managers new to their roles with a specialized training on a different set of responsibilities.
