Pros

I worked for US Xpress for over 8 years. I made some great friends and had some of the best times working with the people I met at US Xpress. Benefits were average at best, below average raises, horrible insurance and management that is based on family and close friends of the owner. Leadership's only concern is making Max happy with his crazy ideas and trying to maintain the wacky world he lives. The main office in Chattanooga is a nice building on the outside, the inside is filled with negativity, internal politics and nepotism.

Cons

Well...If you need a job and there is other job on the face of the earth, including selling your internal organs, then US Xpress is the place to work. Seriously, they will work you like dogs, treat you like trash and have layoff's multiple times during the year. Don't expect much from this company, make sure you have a back-up plan before going in.

Pros

New Equipment, Trucks are only a couple years old. Shop manager is pretty cool. Benefits are good. They offer tuition reimbursement for certifications. They have automatic increases in pay the first 3 years.

Cons

Shifts could be worked out a little better. The only way to move up is if someone leaves or gets promoted. Not a whole lot of bad things to say about it. It pays the bills!
