Pros
It's easy to get hired. Low quality work is constantly acceptable so you don't have to aim high with your work.
Cons
You get paid below the industry standard because 'we're not a tech company.' 80% of the tech team was laid off over three rounds of layoffs in 12 months. Heavy focus on .net 4 development with no plan of moving to .net8. Most of the tech is from the 70s-90s. You never receive the bonus because the company is rarely making money. Company is so small, there's no room for career growth. Requirements for employees work varies based on personal relationships with management. No mentorship program. You're never told to work overtime but the expectation is that you will work nights and weekends on a regular basis. Production environment is the main testing environment.
