      Great Benefits, Great People, Too Much Political Drama

      Pros

      UC Davis offers great benefits to all of its employees and great wages, with plenty of room for advancement. The campus is gorgeous, and soon to be smoke free, and everything is well connected and technologically up to date.

      Cons

      Everything is constantly being restructured, rearranged, remodeled, redesigned, and politics do come in to play--both the office kind and the government kind.

      Pros

      Work life balance is very well respected. Coworkers are friendly and helpful. UC system provides a generous benefits package and great retirement plan.

      Cons

      Working style sometimes are slow-paced. It could be boring for someone. There is not much room for growth and promotion are not completely merit-based.
