      Pros

      Great people to work around. Fast paced labor, but only have to use basic skills and knowledge; great part-time job.

      Cons

      Management is constantly changing as students graduate and Alumni are promoted.

      Pros

      Beautiful city with lots to offer. Great professors and a very active department. Not a bad place to spend a year. Near San Francisco which is a plus.

      Cons

      Huge school with tons and tons of undergrads. In Sacramento which is a bummer. Lots of focus on agriculture in the university. Not very good food.

      Pros

      The majority of people who work here are extremely decent, friendly and care about doing their jobs well. It is pretty easy to learn all aspects of the business by talking to the various staff members. The organization and its members actually care about sustainability and planning for the future, and also care about their residents.

      Cons

      The pay is low and there was a serious disinclination to spend money on things like training. Also, working remotely was only OK when it was in favor of the office (i.e. working while sick or after hours), otherwise all hours were to be in office, despite having no face-to-face interaction needed with those there. Advancement seemed to come with either making friends with the director or gaining advanced degrees, rather than merit or applying for positions.
